Mattison’s third feature length film, the Tubi original, An Unusual Suspect. Mr. Mattison is an Associate Professor of Entertainment and Media Studies in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and he is excited to debut his latest film to UGA students and community in partnership with the Institute for African American Studies. Mr. Mattison will also join us for a Q & A to discuss film making, the creative process, and taking up space and making things possible as a Black director and writer.
