The Institute for African American Studies is announcing a call for submissions for our annual Lee Roy B. Giles Encouragement Award. This award honors students who show excellence in the engagement of African American studies and history through research, projects, academic program, or any practical application.

We encourage student within and without the African American studies program to apply.
