The PWP team invites you to our final virtual program of the fall on Nov. 15, 5-6:30pm Eastern time. The distinguished scholars we've invited have each selected an excerpt from their favorite, teachable, Wheatley Peters poem(s) to discuss, and they also will consider Wheatley Peters' role in relation to communities of early artists, which has emerged throughout the year as a major theme of the programming.  Dr. Seretha Williams, who earned her doctorate in Comparative Literature at UGA and now is a leading scholar of poet Margaret Walker and practitioner of digital humanities, as well as department chair, is one of the participants of this event,  Please register via the poster, or visit the Phillis Wheatley Peters website at www.wheatleypetersproject.weebly.com.
